WHAT WE COVER:
You SHOULD use social media for your marketing
Instead, focus on where your dream clients are and where you feel creative and motivated.
You SHOULD work traditional working hours at a desk
Instead, think about your ideal working scenario - the environment you like to be in, the hours you feel fresh and inspired, the days you’d like to be in work mode.
You SHOULD be creating passive income streams
Every client I work with at some point voices the aim of creating passive income and when I ask why they say they want more consistent income. Do you actually want to create templates or courses or digital products it will show if your heart isn’t in it. If you do, do it, if not there are so many ways to keep your income consistent and sustainable.
You SHOULD charge similar rates to designers at the same level as you.
Instead, charge what feels right for you and what matches up with you income goals and level of confidence - the more you charge based on external factors, the less confident you can feel in your own pricing.
You SHOULD be aiming bigger and higher every year
It’s ok to have similar aims and goals to previous years, it’s ok to want to keep a steady income, it’s ok if your big picture looks like having a simple, sustainable, joyful life doing things that don’t seem too glamorous.
